 Math: Students will continue their financial literacy project.


Language Arts: 
  • Literature - Students will read through chapter 22 of Carry On, Mr. Bowditch, and will continue to work on memorizing "The Pobble Who Has No Toes." 
  • Grammar - Students will finish learning about pronouns about antecedents, and move into making nouns possessive. 
  • Writing - Students will start an expository five paragraph focusing on sensory detail. 
Science: Students will learn about Earth's natural resources, including soil, renewable and nonrenewable resources.

What to expect for Q3W5:


Math: Students will be finishing their unit on decimals and begin their unit on financial literacy.

Language Arts: 
  • Literature - Students will read through chapter 19 of Carry On, Mr. Bowditch, and will continue to work on memorizing "The Pobble Who Has No Toes." 
  • Grammar - Students will continue working working with compound sentences and begin going over pronouns and antecedents.
  • Writing - Students will continue learning how to write friendly letters in the correct format. 
History: Students will continue learning about the regions of Texas.

  What to expect for Q3W4:


Math: Students will learn how to divide decimals and continue working with word problems.

Language Arts: 
  • Literature - Students will read through chapter 15 of Carry On, Mr. Bowditch, and will continue to work on memorizing "The Pobble Who Has No Toes." 
  • Grammar - Students will continue learning about sentence fragments, and begin learning about run-on sentences 
  • Writing - Students will continue writing their own persuasive paragraphs learning about how to write, edit, and revise them. By the end of the week, they will begin learning how to write friendly letters. 
Science: Students continue learning about the lunar cycle, review the water cycle, and begin learning about processes that shape the earth. begin Texas History and studying the regions of Texas.

  • Literature - Students will read through chapter 11 of Carry On, Mr. Bowditch, and will continue to work on memorizing "The Pobble Who Has No Toes." 
  • Grammar - Students will continue learning about sentence fragments, how to fix them, and will spend some time practicing looking up words in the dictionary.  
  • Writing - Students will continue learning about how to write, edit, and revise persuasive writing. 
History: Students will begin Texas History and studying the regions of Texas.
