What to expect for Q3W4:
Math: Students will learn how to divide decimals and continue working with word problems.
Language Arts:
- Literature - Students will read through chapter 15 of Carry On, Mr. Bowditch, and will continue to work on memorizing "The Pobble Who Has No Toes."
- Grammar - Students will continue learning about sentence fragments, and begin learning about run-on sentences
- Writing - Students will continue writing their own persuasive paragraphs learning about how to write, edit, and revise them. By the end of the week, they will begin learning how to write friendly letters.
Science: Students continue learning about the lunar cycle, review the water cycle, and begin learning about processes that shape the earth. begin Texas History and studying the regions of Texas.

Tues 2/22 - Thurs 2/24 - Open House: We are excited to welcome you to campus for a quick glimpse into your students experience here at school. Spring open house is designed to give you a personal window into the beauty and joy of your child’s classroom. This event is for current parents only. Guests such as friends, grandparents, or younger siblings/children should not attend this event. Distractions need to be kept to a minimum and so phones and cameras are not permitted. There will be two individual spaces per time slot, so if both you and your spouse are visiting, then sign up for BOTH spots. Links to the sign up for your child's classroom will be sent out through the school’s constant contact program on Tuesday afternoon.
