Q3W3 February 7, 2022


 What to expect for Q3W3:

Math: Students will learn how to multiply decimals and working with word problems.

Language Arts: 
  • Literature - Students will read through chapter 11 of Carry On, Mr. Bowditch, and will continue to work on memorizing "The Pobble Who Has No Toes." 
  • Grammar - Students will continue learning about sentence fragments, how to fix them, and will spend some time practicing looking up words in the dictionary.  
  • Writing - Students will continue learning about how to write, edit, and revise persuasive writing. 
History: Students will begin Texas History and studying the regions of Texas.

Coming Attractions
Tues 2/22 - Thurs 2/24 - Open HouseWe are excited to welcome you to campus for a quick glimpse into your students experience here at school. Spring open house is designed to give you a personal window into the beauty and joy of your child’s classroom. This event is for current parents only. Guests such as friends, grandparents, or younger siblings/children should not attend this event. Distractions need to be kept to a minimum and so phones and cameras are not permitted. There will be two individual spaces per time slot, so if both you and your spouse are visiting, then sign up for BOTH spots.  Links to the sign up for your child's classroom will be sent out through the school’s constant contact program on Tuesday afternoon.
